According to Idealista, the average asking price for housing in Barcelos in July 2026 is 1 893 €/m². The figure covers the whole housing market, including resale homes.

Over the past 12 months, the price per square metre has increased by 14,7%; over five years, it has increased by 87,2%. The average annual rate over this period is 13,4%.

Housing in Barcelos is currently 5,8% lower on average than in the district of Braga, where the price is 2 010 €/m².

Compared with the region of Norte, the difference is 27,8%: housing here is lower.

If the average rate of the past five years continues, the estimated price per square metre in Barcelos will be about 2 146 €/m² in one year and 2 433 €/m² in two years. That corresponds to changes of 13,4% and 28,5% from the current level.
