Housing price trends in Lagos

According to Idealista, the average asking price for housing in Lagos in July 2026 is 4 631 €/m². The figure covers the whole housing market, including resale homes.

Over the past 12 months, the price per square metre has increased by 2,5%; over five years, it has increased by 62,8%. The average annual rate over this period is 10,2%.

Housing in Lagos is currently 11,2% higher on average than in the district of Faro, where the price is 4 165 €/m².

Compared with the region of Algarve, the difference is 11,2%: housing here is higher.

If the average rate of the past five years continues, the estimated price per square metre in Lagos will be about 5 105 €/m² in one year and 5 627 €/m² in two years. That corresponds to changes of 10,2% and 21,5% from the current level.
